Crypt Lake Trail Backside

Crypt Lake Trail can only be accessed by boat at Waterton Lakes National Park.
This hike is to this day the best hikes I have ever done. Moderately difficult, it's 10 miles roundtrip with approximately 2200 ft elevation gain. You have to scale a cliff, navigate a cave tunnel and climb ladders on a cliff wall to get to the top. At the Top it's about another mile around the lake. At the back end of the lake there was a family of Mountain Goats scaling the mountain and was excellent to observe.
There's an abundance of wildflowers, wildlife to include bears and excellent fishing at Crypt Lake as well as great swimming opportunities. The views are unparalleled. Definitely a serious endeavor.
